From Humble Beginnings
Royalteas, was the passion of one woman, Saada Elias Moussalli, raised between Nigeria and Lebanon. With an architectural degree as a background, a passion for food and beautiful things, she decided to open Chocolat Royal, the first born to the group, on the 20th of November 1994, the first French Patisserie and Chocolaterie in Nigeria.
It was not long before it positioned itself as the first authentic French Patisserie in Nigeria. By serving all sorts of sweet fresh goods: bakery, chocolate, ice cream, etc. It gradually introduced a new dessert culture to Nigeria and soon became a pioneer in the country’s food industry.
Where We Are Today
In addition, the group embarked in the catering business in 2004 supplying to restaurants, hotels and airlines companies . The demand of our current clients has grown so much over the years that the group has expanded into a full catering business.
Today, Chocolat Royal has grown to become renowned French Patisserie and Chocolaterie in Nigeria and around the world boasting of heavy patronage from both local and international clients/customers and visitors
